기초조형학연구논문집 ISSN 1598-8635 (Print) / ISSN 2713-5993 (Online)

사단법인 한국기초조형학회의 학술지 ‘기초조형학연구’는 2006년 한국연구재단의 등재학술지로 선정된 이후 계속적인 발전을 거듭해 오고 있으며, 2021년을 기준하여 연 6회 발행, 총 4,389편의 논문을 게재 수록하고 있다.

‘기초조형학연구’는 KCI(Korea Citation Index) 학술연구분야 분류기준에 따른 대 분류상 ‘예술체육’, 중 분류상 ‘예술일반’에 속하며, 연구분야는 환경, 공간, 건축, 제품, 패션, 텍스타일, 뷰티, 그래픽, 광고, 편집, 사진, 영상, 미디어, 애니메이션, 공예, 조각, 회화 등 평면(2D), 입체(3D), 미디어(4D)에 이르는 예술과 디자인 전 분야를 대상으로 하고 있다.
‘기초조형’을 학술 및 교육, 연구의 대상으로 삼고 조형 예술과 디자인의 기초과학으로서 조형의 원리와 실제, 문법과 본질 그리고 형태와 컴포지션, 방법과 절차, 지각과 반응, 언어와 커뮤니케이션 등을 학문적 대상으로 하고 있다.

'Journal of Basic Design & Art' is the academic journal of Korea Society of Basic Design & Art (KSBDA) which has steadily been making great achievements since its designation as an academic journal for National Research Foundation of Korea in 2006. As of 2021, 6 bulletins were issued a year with a total of 4,389 research papers published.

'Journal of Basic Design & Art' falls under the category of 'Art' under 'Art and Sport' in accordance with the criteria for classification in the field of Korea Citation Indexed academic researches. The areas of research encompass all kinds of fields in art and design such as environment, space, construction, product, fashion, textile, beauty, graphics, advertisement, editing, photograph, video image, media, animation, craft, sculpture, painting in 2D, 3D and 4D.
While considering ‘basic art and design’ as the subject for studies, education and research, and regarding basic art and design as the basic science of formative arts and design, 'Journal of Basic Design & Art' focuses on the principles and existence of basic art and design, grammar and nature, form and composition, method and procedure, perception and response, and language and communication.
